Sharing Student Feedback from My Course Evaluations
I view course evaluations as an essential component of effective teaching and continuous improvement. Student feedback provides valuable insight into how course structure, pacing, assignments, and instructional strategies are experienced in practice, and I take this feedback seriously. Each semester, I review evaluation results carefully to identify patterns, strengths, and opportunities for refinement. Where appropriate, student input has directly informed adjustments to course organization, assignment sequencing, in-class activities, and the balance between lecture, discussion, and applied work.
Because my courses emphasize experiential and project-based learning, I recognize that challenge and discomfort are often part of the learning process. Course evaluations help me assess whether those challenges are purposeful, well-supported, and clearly communicated. My goal is not only to maintain high academic and professional standards, but to continually improve the clarity, effectiveness, and relevance of the learning experience for students. Evaluations are therefore not an endpoint, but an ongoing dialogue that helps shape the evolution of my courses over time.
